very much like another victim so I'm even going to use that explanation with my editing--
What happened to me:
I did a search for [a shower valve] in which it takes you to a list of several store that retail that item. One was the The Cheap O'store which advertised the exact [valve] that I wanted to purchase. the site advertises it as new, time left ( that keeps resetting), no bids,no observers, and current price .99 everytime I went back to see it. Then they have a "BID NOW, CREATE AN ACCOUNT, ITS FREE, ONLY TAKES A MINUTE" and I competed it and it lead which automatically takes you to a new site ["Bidmos"].
This is where my story is different because instead of taking me to "BidCactus" like the previous victim on 3/17, I was sent to "Bidmos". I am e-mailing them at [email protected] in hopes they will refund my $60 I put down on bid credits so I could bid on the valve.
I followed what they asked for bought the mininum amount of "bids". I could not find the [valve] anywhere and there is no phone number for The CheapO'Store. There is no phone to contact Bidmos.
I called my credit card and told them I will dispute the transaction as bait and switch.
