I have been applying for jobs, and after applying for 3 on Craigslist in Fort Collins, Colorado, I received the following email:

"Hello,

We would like to thank you for sending your resume to Pearson Recruitment & Partners. After reviewing your initial credentials, I think you could possibly be a great fit for our company.

Our Human Resource manager would like to schedule an interview with you before she leaves for vacation early next week. You need to complete the pre-interview screening before we can schedule an interview, which can be found at http://pearsonjobs.info or the career link on our homepage. Your applicant code is 751601.

Please write down your code, as that is the only way you can gain access to your application and employee profile. Once you complete your screening someone from HR will contact you within 72 hours to schedule an interview.

Respectfully
Darren Fittingham
Pearson Recruitment & Partners"

Since I was worried about the legitimacy of companies posting to Craigslist, I did not click any link or even copy and paste to a website, but instead sent this reply back to them:

"Dear Mr. Fittingham,

Thank you for contacting me regarding a potential job fit. Could you please let me know when I sent my resume to you and for what position? I have been keeping very detailed records of my applications and contacts, but I did not make note of any contact I had with your company. Also, would you please provide a phone number so I can contact someone with a few questions I have?

Best regards,

April Maddox"

After I sent that, I did a search on this and came to this website. Thanks for spreading the word. I will keep you posted if I get any sort of response from "Mr. Fittingham," et. al.
