DON'T BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE! Our small business got called by a rep from "Yellow Pages Public" saying that they called the previous day and that they were told by my boss (whose name is also the name of the business) to call back today and talk to me because he was very busy. In broken English he said the call was to be recorded and that it was to authorize a cancellation of an advertising agreement. He said the first year was free but that the second year's total came to $599.99, which they would send an invoice for, unless I wanted to pay over the phone to which it would be $100 less. Thank God I had enough smarts to not give credit card info! They wanted a fax number, which I didn't give, and confirmed the address. Finally I got transferred to a "quality control" rep (who at least spoke English enough to understand), but kept insisting that I answer a simple yes or no to every question. After reading other complaints I'm sure they'll doctor the recording and make me seem even more stupid than I already feel.
