Complaint 87017 Details

I have been conned by a guy calling himself Alexander Senko / also referencing his wife EVELINA ROMANOVNA CHERNODAROVA. See initial email

For shipping of tickets via Fedex courier, I will need:

1) a physical (residential or corporate) address where you can personally receive and sign for the package. A proxy person is acceptable if you will not be around but be aware that you must be able to trust that person. The event is sold out and tickets at face value are scarce.

and

2) a phone number for the Fedex Airway Bill.


Payment instructions: I can accept Western Union. Total to pay is $6035 in Hong Kong dollars. I will use Fedex International Express which will deliver to Hong Kong within 3 business days. There is a Western Union fee and you must pay this fee on top of (additional to) the $6035.

Please make every effort to pay as early as possible on the 7th as March 8, 9 and 10 are public holidays in Russia.
Western Union is widely available in Hong Kong. Tsim Sha Tsui has literally dozens of remittance services usually offered by currency exchange locations. Chungking Mansions at 36/44 Nathan Rd and locations where foreign workers tend to congregate to remit their funds overseas are just some of the places where Western Union is offered.

At any of these locations, tell the staff that you need to send funds by Western Union. They will provide a "send-money" form. You might be asked to identify yourself so please bring your passport or HK ID when you arrange payment.

On the form you will be asked to write the receiver's details. Here are my wife's details:

First name: EVELINA ROMANOVNA
Last name: CHERNODAROVA
Destination (city) : IRKUTSK
Destination (country) : Russian Federation (or just Russia)

Please be sure to spell the name correctly as it exactly appears above and on the sample form attached to this email. The Western Union sample form attached to this email shows how or what you should write on the actual form. Please ensure and double-check that my wife's name is spelled correctly on the form before you hand it over to the staff for processing.
Please advise the Western Union staff that the receiver (my wife) must receive the USD-equivalent of HKD 6035. They will automatically convert the $6035 to USD as it is not possible to collect your payment in HKD in Russia.

After sending payment, you will receive a Western Union receipt or transaction slip. Please email me the following details shown on that slip--

1) The name of the person who sent the Western Union payment (the name shown on the Western Union payment receipt)
2) The exact amount to be collected in USD as exactly shown on the receipt. There is a transfer or service fee which the location will charge you for sending the payment. This is a local fee and charged by the post office in consideration of the service they provide on behalf of Western Union. Please anticipate this fee. You will need to anticipate and prepare HK$ 6035 + the Western Union fee.

3) The location of the Western Union branch where payment was processed and

4) The MTCN (also shown on the receipt)
I would appreciate it if you could send me a clear picture in PDF format or a scanned copy of the Western Union receipt as an email attachment. This picture must show the payment details.

Also, if you know someone who might need a fifth ticket, a friend of mine will not fly to Hong Kong too as she was hoping to be part of our group. Flying by herself is not an option for her. It's $1500 for her ticket.
