on February 8, 2012, I searched for a website to check a VIN for a vehicle I was considering to purchase. I found Autocheck.com. I made the critical error in choosing this website to run a VIN check. Initially, I paid $2.95 to verify the VIN. Then had the option for a one-time premium vehicle history check. I elected the one-time premium vehicle check for a one-time charge of $29.95. The website ran the vehicle history check and provided it on screen for a one-time print option. I printed the vehicle check and at that point was completely satisifed.

Then on March 8, 2012, my credit card was billed the same duplicate $29.95 charge, as if the website had provided me a service? I did not request a second vehicle history report. I did not authorize a charge to my credit card during March 2012. I did not visit the website after February 2012? Yet, Car Report billed me a duplicate charge of $29.95. I discovered once I contacted the company that they were charging me reoccurring charges and would continue until I cancelled my account. The customer service representative was from Pakistan, she did not speak English very well and I could barely understand what she was telling me. She stated that she could not refund the $29.95 and offered to cancel my account to avoid future reoccurring charges? Of course I canceled to avoid being charged $29.95 in future months. She issued me a cancellation code and told me to have a good day! This company stole $29.95 from me via unauthroized charge to my credit card. If you are reading this, please take heed of my warning and DO NOT USE Autocheck.com. Otherwise, you may regret it financially. I would like to sue the company for false advertising and theft and whatever other illegal activity the law allows. But for $29.95, it's not worth hiring a lawyer. I will gladly join a Class Action Lawsuit if contacted to seek recovery.
