I also signed up for so-called "free" advice from Martin Lewis' money saving expert's website and have been charged 2 x 20 British pounds (sorry have an Australian laptop with no pound sign). 1 x 10 pounds taken out last month (February 2012) and another 1 x 10 pounds taken out in January 2012. Am going to get my bank to cancel this unauthorised direct debit that I did NOT agree to. This should be a warning to anyone else thinking they are getting something that is advertised as being free when it clearly is not.

Thanks.

  • This is not as direct debit it is an ongoing transaction.
First thing is to contact the banks fraud department and change your account details.
