We heard about Green Credit Solutions advertisment in November of 2008 on Tom Likis (97.1). Not wanting to lose our home, we hired GCS. We made an appl. electronically. We spoke to Hector Montes who assured us that we were in good hands. We asked him "what do you do that I can't do? He said "we specialized in loan mods., that's what we do. He said "do you have time to be calling back and forth and filling out paperwork? We do all that for you. Not only that, but we also have our own lawyers. You just give us your authorization to work in your behalf so that you don't lose your home to Forclosure. It will cost $3500.00. The sooner you pay us the money, the sooner we can get this done. So, we give them a down payment, and the remainder was taken out of our bank acct. by weekly until paid in full. He also advised us to be three months late on our mortgage. He said that would give us a better chance to get the loan mod from our mortgage company. He told us that Rose Galavis would be handling our file. We spoke to Rose, she was so comforting, she told us "if you ever have any questions, please call me anytime. I will give you my direct line and, I will also give you my cell number. We felt so relieved. We were finally going to get the help we needed. As time went by we did not receive a phone of any kind. We called them several times, over and over left messege after messege and they would not return our calls. Finally we got through by phone. I asked Rose "whats going on?" her excuse was "It's your mortgage company. I just waiting for their response. More time went on without receiving a call back. I decided to call my mortgage co. to see what was being done. To my surprise, they told me "your house went into forclosure on March 3rd, didn't you know? I told them no! I didn't know. If I knew that it was going into forclosure I would have done something to save it! I was in a panic to put it lightly. I called GCS over and over until I got someone on the phone. Yelling and crying frantically! I told them "why didn't you tell me that my house was in forclosure? I would have done something to save it! You were suppose to act on our behalf. That's why we hired you! They had no clue, I was the one to tell them that my home was in forclosure. They did nothing for us. All they did was create big probems for us! When we spoke to Hector Montes he said "that is not our fault. You should have known that when you miss three payments your home could go into forclosure". We didn't know that, it was our first time applying for a loan mod. that is why we hired them. I called my mortgage company again and they told us that our home was going up for action on monday. GCS didn't know a thing about the sale. Know if they were working with my file they should have known everything about what was going on. We had to come up with 17K to save our home. We had to pull out all of our 401K within three days because our house was going up for auction on that monday. If I had not called our mortgage company our home would have been sold! I was so sick to my stomach during this time with nausea I lost 20 pounds. My husband blood pressure was sky hi. It was horrible. They did nothing for us! They ruined our life! Then we receive a letter from the State Bar of California saying that they had to close them down because they were working an unauthorized law practice. So, we lost our $3500.00
