PMI, a publicly traded company, claims in their telephone call to you that they are The Chosen training affiliate for the Web hosting company, Storesonline, Inc. They tell you they will get you on the front page of Google, just buy their Expert Services.

They tell you they have Live Expert Trainers always available to answer questions and teach - trainers who have their own money-making websites - who will help us make our new website happen.

When we asked specifically , we were told we should not and would not have to pay one more penny for any kind of website building service - that PMI had everything we would ever need to have a money-making website. Notice, I keep saying money-making.

Through sales pressure and what we would call coersion (not explained herein), we ended up paying $11,400 for a six-month training program with the possibility to extend the service another six months if we were not where we needed to be in the first six months.

What did we get for our money: Eight 30 minute phone sessions with a so called Expert - a person who claimed to be an expert at websites because he has his own. Thru his conversation, we've concluded that he was setting up a website not that he was an experienced, successful website owner.

We got 20 hours of computer webinars which were decent but certainly not worth $11,400.

Four consulting sessions with a company called e-biz. E-biz was the service arm. E-biz would have independently charged approximately $5,000 for those services which again were not worth their charges. In our experience and opinion E-biz services were not unique to us nor would I say, in my opinion, were they current to the market at the time of use.

PMI's live customer service, which they stressed at the time of purchase, was nil. I used it four times and was abandoned twice i.e. the guy didn't come back to the phone. One of those times I waited 40 minutes for him to come back.

I can't prove it but I have surmised from various events and conversations, the salesman did not include other services which for $11,400 should have been included.

Bottom line: After making use of all of PMI's services, we are NOT on the front page of Google. Matter of fact, right now, we can't even find our website unless we type in the domain name - keywords don't work. We have had our website up for 9 months and have not made one penny from it. Thru various means we have found out PMI's charges are not standardized. We may have paid far more than other people and we were not given time to research options before paying. We believe we were not given the proper verbal Right of Recisson even though on their charges it was included (again, I have not gone into detail on this item herein).

We know there are errors and omissions in their webinar training program. For example: Even though they were specific in a webinar on creating a business entity, they did not talk about the need to purchase any kind of business insurance such as liability and why.

Their webinars are not kept current. For example: there is very little about current social websites and how to currently, properly get on them even though, according to Google, they are vital to website visibility.

Their listings of items directly pertinent to getting even close to page one of Google, such as directories, are not kept current even though that was to be part of the services rendered.

I could include other items herein but suffice it to say, thru our experience, we could never in good conscious recommend PMI to anyone.
