I received a call from Jake from the "Public Yellow Pages" stating that we had a past due invoice. I told him that we did not authorize any service from them and that we have never received an invoice. He then e-mailed me an invoice for $676.81 and proceeded to play a recording of our Marketing Director authorizing services. He said he could authorize removing the interest and we could pay $599.00.

A couple of days later he called me back to see when we would be making payment. I told him that I looked online and the information listed was incorrect. Our Company name was wrong and the category was incorrect also. I told him that I did not believe the recording to be true and that we would not be paying them. He then became very aggressive and said that he would report this to legal and we would be sent to collections as well as being reported to the credit bureau. I told him that we would continue to dispute the charges.
