While doing a search, their site came up which stated for $2.95 for 1 yr subscription for searches, so I gave my cc info and then visited their site, finding absolutely Nothing that was of any value whatsoever.
I left the site, then rec'd an email from Spokeo with "my receipt for $35.40!!!" I have demanded a full refund, but should not have to spend time dealing with this.....clearly misrepresenting themselves.

I apologize for the late response. We only recently been able to assist customers with complaints in this manner. Please allow me to clarify our billing system. Because you had selected our 12-month plan, a total of $35.40 has been deducted. Because this provides you access for the full term, the average cost is $2.95 per month, which is the amount you may have been confused with. To make this even more prominent for our payers, we include this information as part of the disclaimer which has to be agreed to before the purchase is processed. I do apologize again if this was unclear in any way.
