Received a phone call from someone that sounded exactly like a person I knew as a grandson, recognized the voice (I thought). He even used the correct name that I know. He proceeded to tell me he was in Spain (I thought he was there with friends touring Europe)and was in an accident....needed money to pay the bill for damages. Told me where to send it to, etc.
I wired the money, because I was so sure of who it was.
Well you know the rest....of course he denies ever being in Spain and that he did not do it.
Where do I go from here? I don't want to cause problems for him if he didn't do it.....but I keep hearing the voice, over and over.
