Gerald Allen "Ace" Michaels sells himself as a promoter for music, actors & models. He had us prepay him for a ticket sell to play at The Libertine in CA. We called the place to find out about details but the venue was unaware of any show. Still giving "Ace" the benefit we planned the show and the day of the gig we called him for details and he said the show was canceled and we were notified. We were never told, as we tried to get our money back we were told this happens all the time and we would just play another night. After doing some checking online we found that "Ace" has been doing this to many bands and actors in the LA area. He still refuses to pay us back the money.
