About 3 weeks ago my wife saw the above 2 products advertised on the MSN home page. The ad said try a free sample of each and pay only shipping charges. The shipping chargers were about $2 for one item and about $3 for the other item. Because the samples were advertised as free she thought for a $5 shipping fee she would try first before deciding whether to continue to order. Nothing was said anywhere about any further charges. Today I was getting ready to pay bills and went to my checking account on my bank website to check for activity and was shocked to find 2 withdrawals from my checking account--$79.99 for Vitaderm and $74.99 for Aqualift. One withdrawal had a phone number of 8885439408 for Vitaderm and the other withdrawal had a phone number of 8774981950 for Aqualift. We had used our Debit card to pay the shipping charges so this is how they got our number. They were not authorized to withdraw any other funds. I called both numbers and they were the same place---IN THE PHILIPPINES. The first time I called the woman just laughed at me and told me no way would I get the money back. The the samples were not free and I had signed up for a monthly replenishment of both items. And she said I should of called during the 14 day trial period if I didn't want anymore. I knew nothing of a 14 trial period. I called the other number and I got a different women (I think) but was told the same story. After I got off the phone, I did some further investigating and found there was a 14 day trial period but the trial period started the day the samples were ordered. We did not receive any product until about 2 weeks after we ordered the sample so the shipping time counted as the trial period--a scam.
We in no way authorized any charges to my account for any product and they lied about the trial period and the fact the samples were free. Now they have claimed that the 2 little bottles we received are not free samples after all and that is why they charged our account. We are both Senior Citizens and even if we were younger, we would NEVER pay this kind of money for something this stupid. No way in hell would we pay $150 a month for some stupid facial cream. I asked for the name of the company, the corporate headquarters, the name of a manager and they refused to give any information. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they were all in meetings and were all unavailable. I WANT THIS MONEY BACK--SOMEHOW--NOW.
