Its the same story - they call with a pitch about doing work for rehabbing bank foreclosures. They say there is no bidding - they have set fees for the jobs and you get your assignments and decide which ones you want to accept. They say its not job leads but actual jobs that they can not handle and need help from local contractors. They need a fee for a background check. So I send them the fee. I get accepted and then they start sending me leads - with email addresses - saying respond immediately to the customer by email. no phone numbers, no addresses, no names. Guess what - no responses. I'm thinking maybe this is just temporary until the banks are convinced that my work is good. but after 6 weeks of this and nothing - its just a bunch of crap.
