I researched a jeep grande cherokee limited edition for a couple weeks at mentor kia mitsubishi in mentor ohio.The provided car fax said it was in good condition,nice....said new tires and 3 previous owners and no report of major frame damage.I had called twice before I went to get the jeep and maid sure it was there and definately black.they said it was still available and black both times.I went an the 28th of january to purchase what I thought was a good jeep and also black due to the companies web page description.I ended up presented on the spot with a light green jeep a long way away from home needing a vehicle and did the usual questions about the jeep and was told it needed brakes in the front and had a cv joint problem with minor rust.turns out it has severe frame damage and is very unsafe to drive due to frame parts missing and severe rust damage and won't come close to gettin a west virginia inspection without thousands in repairs by professionals who in which most won't touch the jeep because they don't want to be liable.I called peter miller of mentor kia mitsubishi and he said the only way he would believe me if i were to drive it all the way there and he would have it inspected and then only if he felt it wasn't road worthy he would refund my money...maybe!
