Ziinga guides you to their on-line auctions which appear to be on a "live countdown timer". You are invited to take "free" bids on some selected "special" items in an apparently "live" timed auction.

You bid. You win! Something normally around $50 is yours for about $15 + $16 PP!!

Then you pay by credit card. During this process you are then given a 7 day FREE trial offer of their Platinum Membership (normally $93 per month. You have to press NEXT to continue the payment process. It is at this point that you have unwittingly agreed to a 3 month Platinum Membership.

They then ask you to send photocopies of your passport, drivers licence front and back and a copy of the original credit card application form in order to permit you to have the special offer item you just bought, because this offer is one per household.

This rings alarm bells al over the place, so at this point, you tell them to shove the deal and cancel the purchase. This is where they claim you have entered into a legally binding contract for their Platinum Membership, which will cost you $45 to cancel.

I got my money back through my card company as I sent them records of all e-mails and claimed my right to exercise my 7 day cooling off period for all internet contracts.
