Below is the e-mail message from a company that offers the Mistery Shopper job. It looks as a scam. They, probably, want the payee to trasfer some money to them via Western Union, while PayPal will eventually reverse the transaction making the payee responsible for the whole amount and fees. How a payee can fight such kind of fraud? Read their message below.
"Richie Mcgrath wants you to run a survey on two prominent company's in your area.

The 1st is a Western Union Location
The 2nd is a Restaurant

There have been reports about lack in the services of their Management and some of their staff. The complaints were based on reports which their customers forwarded anonymously and Phone calls which were also made to their head offices.The Western union location was reported for evaluation for the following reasons:

I) Customers have reported their money missing
II) Slow services
III) Unbalanced transfer charges .

The 2nd company was reported to be rendering
I) Poor services
II) Rudeness to customers
III) Excess charges
IV) Late opening time and Closing before time.Your Secret Evaluation would be

GUIDELINES:-
-How long it took you to get services.
-Ambiance/Outlook of the Shop/Outlet
-Smartness of the attendant
-Customer service professionalism
-Reaction of personally under pressure
-Information that you think would be helpful
-Your comments and impressions.
-Your personal opinion

1) Firstly, you proceed to make a funds transfer from this western union location to another Mystery shopper, and the funds would be picked up by another mystery shopper at the exact location Which a customer reported her funds missing.
2) You would have to record the time at which you got to the location and how many minutes it took you to get their service.
3) You would be sent a paypal deposit which would cover your payment of $200 including the transfer charges. As soon as you receive the funds in your account, you withdraw, and deduct your $200 and use the rest of the money for the services.
4) Upon receiving the funds, the locations address would be forwarded to you, and also the Name and address of whom the Mystery shoppers transfer would be made to. You would have to keep a comprehensive report on every activity you carry out.
5) You would also provide me with the name of the cashier that attended to you. Please, confirm to me that you did received this message so that the funds can be sent out to you ASAP.

A user ID and password to access our members area will be sent to you once you pass our trial.. You will be able to communicate with other members along with a members service representative for constant information regarding our services.. You will also receive a minimum of 2 jobs weekly once we are certain that you are trustworthy .. Trust is very important in this business..
