Luckily I did not purchase this program for $48.50, supposedly from Barbara Adamson, but I was just about to until I started researching this company. Believe me, I have bought into other programs that I thought would be "my answer", but I stopped short on this one!

I could not find anything on eDirect Online Profits, but I kept digging because I thought it odd that there wouldn't be ANYTHING on this company positive or negative. I found another company that had virtually the exact wording, images, testimonials, etc just with a different "#1 Home Job Consultant in America" named Diana Thompson. That website name is Home Profits Online. I initially stumbled upon these "suspect" sites when I googled the names of some of the people that had provided "testimonials". Turns out they provide the same testimonial...exactly...for many different at home online sites...ha, go figure! Another that I found that provided the same testimonials is www.bestworkfromhomejobs.info.

I just wanted to provide the information I found in case anyone else was looking into these particular sites...I hate that people are able to do this to other people!

  • eDirect Online Profits - Scam requires lots of upfront money....2/9/2012

I wasn't sure if this was a scam but now that I was sucked into the initial phase for $48.50, I believe it is a scam now. Once you pay the $48.50, let me warn you it does not stop there. I was offered a bonus for a free website valued at $1995.00 for free. In order to get this website there is a catch, you have to purchase a domain name and pay for web hosting. Hosting a website costs money and although they did what they said and created a website for me, it is only informational right now and it has cost me about $200.00 more so far. Now this is crazy, the following day I received a call and spoke to three people who say I sound very motivated so they would like to personally help me get up and running to make money on this website.. wait for it... wait for it.... yep you got it, I have to cough up $2980.00 which they will finance with $500.00 down and $123.81 monthly payments and also pay $40.00 monthly on each website they put together for me to make and sell product online. Holy cow, they are crazy if they think they will get any personal information from me and all I can say is don't do it!!!!! I will run with what I have paid for and if it works then it works but I won't go any farther. Every page you are directed to wants more money for something or other. $48.50 was bad enough, now they want $500.00 more, no way. Just can't trust anyone these days, they prey on people who don't have alot of money in the first place...... Submitted by TWhite on 2/9/2012

  • Thank you JEckstrom for the information. I almost paid for it but then I decided to check into it a little more. I called the customer support number and it kept ringing and ringing and finally a machine told me to hold and that all representatives were busy. I hung up and closed out of the website after I saw your post.
