Namaste

You got a call for a business opportunity from Namaste. What is it? Who are they? Is it a good investment? Read a review below.

So, somewhere at sometime you made a request online to learn about an income opportunity. If you are like me you then started getting phone calls from all over North America asking you to participate in numerous money making opportunities. If you are reading this you probably got a call from Namaste Consulting Group LLC. The pitch is this. They start by telling you how many transactions are made by credit cards and that you can be a part of that huge market by setting up merchant ID numbers for companies. This allows the company to accept credit card payments. All you have to do is let Namaste set up a website for you and any business that applies through your website and is approved gives you a commission. Not only that but you get a residual income from their sales. You don't even have to do any work! Someone else will do all the necessary steps to get them approved. You simply supplied the internet portal that found the customer. The cost of this opportunity is $500.00. They also promise to have you on the front page of Google when your site is set up. Now that should come with a caveat because you certainly won't rank #1 for people looking to apply for a merchant ID number. What they do is get you to rank on page one if someone types in your URL address into google. My site was http://www.mobilecreditcardprocessingveriphonehandheld.com/ So if someone did a Google search for "mobile credit card processing veriphone handheld" my site would be on the first page of Google. Now I knew that was slim but I build websites and created this URL that you are on now to assist with that. http://themerchantidmerchant.com was created by me to direct traffic to my Namaste site for applicants. The other thing Namaste doesn't tell you is that after you pay the $500 they want another $3500 to get blogs written for you to improve your search traffic. I told them that if that was necessary, and had been explained to me at the time, I wouldn't have signed up for it. PUNCHLINE To make a long story short there is a new name on "my" site. I have been removed and can no longer reach them even though I have sent numerous emails to all parties. They have my money and within a few months they gave the site to someone else who paid them for the same URL. Since they have not called me back or responded to my emails I have filed a claim with the FTC regarding their business practices. Reference # 34061551. So I hope I have shed some light on this for anyone considering this opportunity. As a side note, they do promise a money back guarantee of 105% but it doesn't matter if you can't reach them. I have also been cold called by them again, so I asked to speak to the supervisor ( whom has to speak to you if you are interested ) and they simply hung up on me.

  • After reading the article above I thought I will add more details to the scam which is currently going around. I am one of the guys who signed up with Namaste Group on June 06-2012. I don't want to write the details once more since it is the similar story I have experince with them. I have tried to Namaste Group so many time left so many messages sent emails no response yet. They created blog and gave three key seraches in Google which no one in the entire planet will use to do searches for merchant services. This is how they scam you buy creating 03 key searches and later on you so not even see these under your profile. Namaste Group scamed me for-$499.00 which came to candian $529 sinceI live in Canada. I will never give up until I get my money back. This will go in 20/20 even fifth eastate and I will take them to social media as well.

  • Work at home mom...that's what got me.
The one thing I can say about Namaste Consulting Group is that they're very consistent with their whole pitch to hook people. It seems to have worked on a lot of people.
I lost close to $4,200 dealing with them. I really thought this would be a great thing. That I would be able to stay home with my daughter and make some money, since I am a single mother.
My story is pretty much the same as what I have been reading and it really infuriates me to know that companies like Namaste have been getting away with taking people's money like this. It's not right!!
I called Namaste several times to try and get my money back but no answer. I finally reached out to the FTC, Attorney General and a law firm to file complaints and get my money back. I spoke to David at 615-671-4983 and he helped me with my case against Namaste. I didn't have to pay money upfront for a retainer or anything, which is good because I didn't have any left. The whole thing was fairly painless. I'm happy I called and got referred to him.
So, anyone reading this and are thinking about dealing with Namaste...stay away from them! They will steal your money and blink twice about it.
