I attempted to get my monthly massage that was prepaid for & when I arrived at Massage Envy, the receptionist told me my account was on hold because the payroll deduction could not be made for the 50.00 monthly fee, I had received a new debit card. I asked how many massages were pre-paid and she said two, but I could not use them until I paid an additional $50!! I told the receptionist that I wanted to cancel my membership as a result and she gave me the cancellation form which I completed, signed and it was sent to my home location to cancel my membership. This occured on July 16th & I was told my membership would be terminated immediately & that I would forfeit my $100 for the 2 prepaid massages. On July 24th, I noticed a charge for $50 from Massage Envy as they charged my card AGAIN after I cancelled. I contacted my home location, in Creve Couer, MO, and was told the membership would not cancel until August 15th!! This is terrible business after I was a loyal member for 2 years!!! I'm sure this has happened to several members and I dont want this practice to continue. Please notify all members & potential members of Massage about their unfair billing practices and cancellation policy!! You will need amassage to calm down & relax once you get treated poorly by Massage Envy!! This is a scam and should be exposed immediately!!
