on 25jan2012, my husband and I found a teacup yorkie that we wanted so much. we contacted the people and they sent us an email saying that the puppy was $250 and they would like to have the money sent by Western Union as a quick money wire transfer. We did that. Three hours later, she picked up the money, emailed us that she was sending the puppy and that we should receive her the next day. The next day, we were contacted by Loyal Asvid shipping and they said that the puppy was ready to board at 2:30 p.m. est. and would arrive at 0745 that evening. We were so egstatic. Five minutes later, we got an email from the shipping company saying that the puppy did not have life insurance to board the plane, and that if we sent them $550 to an individual in Cameroon, South Africa, this person would issue a one time insurance policy to allow the puppy to travel to KCI. I work for a shipping company, and we never asked for life insurance on the animal. It was a ship at your own risk. Since the evening of the 25th, we have not heard from Tamara or the shipping company. They have refused to contact us either by phone or email. We contacted the FBI internet fraud division, the BBB, and the Richmond, VA police. We have also contacted Continental Kennel Club, where Tamara says the puppy was registered. She won't be doing anymore business with them. They all need to be caught, hung, and quartered for prying on citizens grief from losing a loved pet as we were.
