Found a deal through Craiglist for a stainless steel two tier tool chest, after sending a couple of emails inquirying about purchasing I received a reply with a link to the website. I then set up an account to be able to purchase the item using their payment system(Greendot) puchased the Greendot Moneypak through our local Rite Aid drugstore for $500.00 then emailed my order for the cabinet with the greendot code number, payment was accepted, order status stated "Preparation in Progress". I've since emailed and called leaving voicemails with no response, now I cannot access the website and the phone number is no longer in service.

There is an ad running on craigslist for a 23 drawer tool chest. The listing designations are:

[email protected]
[email protected]
So after some research about the tool box and prices, it seemed feasible this would be for sale. The manufacturer used to sell these at Sam’s club for $799.00. Now the manufacturer makes other designs. So I saw this a new old stock item or discontinued item. I got this email back from them through the craigslist ad.
When I responded to this ad, the following information was sent back:

I made a payment through MoneyPak, off this website emporiumcloseout.com. Now the emporiumcloseout.com website is offline.They don’t respond to emails or phone calls.
This person owes a lot of people money, and he's using craigslist to steal from people.
3 weeks later, I find out this has been going around the country.
