[email protected] is a scammer. This person claims to be on the USS Roosevelt and wants me to accept payment via paypal for a truck that I have listed on Craigslist. It is sad that someone would fall to the lowest level of using the military as an outlet to scam me out of money. I emailed several times with this person, as I did my research because I was skeptical of their story. Anyways I was able to catch their scam before they got me. Just proof that you really never know who you are dealing with and if you ever get this sob story of a person on the USS Theodore Roosevelt at sea and wants to get your paypal info so they can pay you...IT IS A SCAM. So sad that they are using the military as a way to try to get pitty and your personal info. Glad I did my research and I hope this can help someone else before they lose anything to this asshole!!!

We also just had the same thing happen, using the same exact wording. I am glad that we googled this kelly person and found such results. I guess the question i have is, if they pay through pay pal, how does this become a scam? Do they then have access to our bank account numbers? We were trying to sell a bike and he contacted us today. thanks for all your help.
