I received a paper in the mail from a company called NMRC saying that I could be eligible to decrease my mortgage through the HAMP program. They said that I would have to pay a fee of $1490.00 to start the process. I was then directed that I would receive documents via by e-mail through docusign. The e-mail was sent by a Andrew Phalen from NMRC, INC. I did speak with a women by the name of Nicole Hollinghurst maybe about week later to check the status on the agreement. I haven't heard anything else back from her since then. And now (01/18/2012) I tried to call her and inquire about the the modification and I find that the number is not in service for Nicole and Mr.Joelle. This is not something that people need to happen to them when things are tough in the economy and now because of the fee of $1490.00 I am one to two months behind on my mortgage. I hope something can be done about this because from what I see from the other complaints they hurt alot of people.
