Saw an ad for guaranteed to work cable boxes, $125. I called and emailed this guy named "JD" several times. He guaranteed me that the Scientific Atlanta 8300HDC, which at this time were being sold as 2-for-1, would work with my Time Warner Cable or a full refund. He talked me into the Scientific Atlanta 8300HDC with the cablecard installed and shipping for $230. I never got this to work, even after working with my cable company and many, many phone calls. Repeated attempts to contact "JD" via phone and emails, went unanswered. Can't even return the box since I was told I need an RMA. No one at Finallyfreetv.com answers my calls or emails.
