I just recevied a check in the mail for $1,600.00 to participate in a paid survey as a Customer Service Evaluator for Western Union, Best Buy, K-Mart or Wal-Mart. To carry out this survey, you are required to deposit the enclosed check at your local bank, take the cash, minus your participation wage of $300.00 and do etc., etc. I new this was a scam to take your money out of your own private account once cashed. I work for the government, DOD and I have reported them also to the police. Just wanted people to be aware of false checks you receive in the mail - do not cash them, destroy them immediately!!
