I was looking on line for a payday loan because I have less than perfect credit. This website came up and a senior loan officer named Jessica Hamilton contacted me with a loan offer of $3000.00
over two years at a 9% interest. I told her I would accept it. Then
the lending company (Traveling Tours Industry)decided they wanted a security payment of $408.00 . I told her if I had the money I wouldnt be looking for a loan so she offered to pay half if I would pay the other half so I agreed. I sent $208.00 to a man (Allan Harmon) in Kingston, Jamacia. I questioned her about using
someone out of the country and she had used this company many
times. The compnay then decided they wanted me to make the
entire payment to prove I could pay it back so I sent the other ($200.00) the following day after exchanging several emails with Ms. Hamilton about the validity of this loan. As soon as he got my
other two hundred dollars the loan was suppose to be deposited into
my account within 45 minutes, but instead Mr. Harmon wanted another $408.00. I told her I thought this was a scam and she got
very mad and said she had been working there for four years and
didnt appreciate me calling it a scam. I was afraid of loosing my
first $408.00 so about 2-3 weeks later I reluctantly sent another $408.00 to Kingston, Jamacia to Mr. Harmon's associate agent. Again the money was to be deposited into my account within 45 mins. This did not happen so I phoned Ms. Hamilton which two about 5-6 phone calls to get her to call me back. She said he was
going to require me to have an insurance for the loan and I needed to send $350.00 to complete the loan. By this time, I was furious
and told her I wanted my money back or I was reporting this company as a fraud. She said it would take 30 days to get my money back. They only did refunds in 30 day cycles. She said I should get my refund by Dec. 01, 2011. I called on Nov. 26 to check with her but was told she was on maternity leave and I talked to the man who was taking her place and a manager there. He said she had never sent my application to the refund department, but he would submit that day which was Nov.26,2011.
He said I would get my refund on Dec.26, 2011 and I insisted on getting my money before Christmas since they had been at fault. Of course I didnt receive it by then and I phoned both numbers I have for the company and everything I phone it says the magic jack
number you called can not except your call or either after two rings it goes to a busy signal. Ms. Hamilton personal number is 646-350-7510 and the toll free number is 855-897-8788. I entered this contract on Oct.17,2011 and today is Jan.10,2012 and still no refund or no way to make contact with the company now. I also lost
money everytime (3) times I sent money through Western Union.
