My wife ordered two beauty products on the internet having read of how effective the products are from Anti Rides Serum and Revita la Peau. From the information available she believed the only charges would be post and packaging of £2.95 and £2.97. She ordered the products on 15 December 2011. The products arrived promptly. On 2 January 2012 I noticed a transaction through my current account of £79.99 (pounds sterling) to Revita la Peau. To our knowledge this has not been authorised. Looking on this site I notice people have had more than one transaction processed. I have contacted our bank and they have cancelled the card used to prevent further transactions. THe bank (Santander) are looking to see whether they can resolve the matter for us. On finding the site my wife used (www.revitaderm.co.uk) I found the following terms and conditions:

By submitting my order, I attest to having read and fully understanding the Terms and Conditions of this offer which includes an immediate shipping and handling charge of £5.97 for a 16-day trial of Revita Derm: Anti-Aging Moisturizer (30-Day Supply). If you are satisfied with our product, then do nothing and at the end of the trial period you will be billed the full product price of £79.99. To ensure your continued enjoyment of Revita Derm, you will automatically receive a new 30-day supply and be billed £79.99 each month. But if at any point you are unhappy with the product, simply call 44(808)178 7320 to cancel your order and avoid any future charges.

I have contacted the phone number and cancelled future orders, not before being offered a 50% reduction on all future orders! My best guess is we've paid for the first month, an unexpected £79.99 and hopefully stopped any further transactions.

Just shows - you need to read terms and conditions - too frequently we all just click on a box and it can cost you.
