i was having some financial problems and desperately needed a loan. i applied for several loans online. after being turned down repeatedly i had pretty much given up. then, on november 21, 2011, i received a phone call from a man named james white stating that i was approved for a 5000.00 usd loan. the only thing was that i needed collateral. since i didn't have anything to put up i turned to some family members for help. my aunt and uncle loaned me the money, which was 5 months payments that totaled 806.05. i was given 810.00. i then deposited into my bank account just to learn that i had to western union the money. so instead of 806.05, i wound up spending 862.00. i was assured by "james white" that i would receive 5000.00 before 5pm on 11/23/2011. well, 5pm came and there were no funds in my account. upset, i contact mr. white to see what the problem is and he says, "because there's so many loans to process and with the thanksgiving holiday your loan won't be available until friday between 9am and 12pm..". okay..so friday morning comes and instead of receiving my 5000.00 loan, i get yet another call, this time from a man who says his name is victor canton and that he is a manager. he says that my credit had been reassessed and before i could get the money that i needed to send another 5 months payments. i then cancelled the loan because i couldn't afford to send money the first time, and it seemed really unnecessary to send more money since i had already been approved. mr. canton states that it will take 30 days to get my money refunded and gives me the date 12/22/2011. well, its now january 08, 2012 i have attempted to reach both james white and victor canton. the number i have either goes to voicemail, returns back to the main menu, or hangs up. all i want right now is compensation for lost wages and emotional reembursment. due to this loan i am no longer trusted by my family, but i have also lost my home. myself and my two young children. if anyone knows what i can do please, please, please help me.
