    • GrabSwag.com Complaint / User Submitted Image #5481

I got an email from a woman on craigslist saying that they got a macbook for a very low price so I went to check it out. It seemed ligit with the whole sign up free get 10 bids free, however once you sign up you automatically get charged $99 totally unbeknownst to you. I immediately call customer service furious and after 20 minutes of absolutely wasting my time she offers me 50% off, at the time it seemed I had no other option, let me tell you, if you ever come to this point you'd better FIGHT for your money back, do not accept any other negotiation they offer you, this company is 100% DECEITFUL, MANIPULATIVE, and a bona fide SCAM.

  • I did some investigating into grabswag after being ripped off by these cronies and i found out who was behind this scam. GrabSwag.com, is a scam, partnered with a company called IMM Interactive/Copeac which is owned by Mike Krongel, which is a scam affiliate network that sends consumers to these sites via fake news articles and gets paid for it. If you click on one of the fake news sites that they are running below, and in internet explorer use webpage privacy, you will see emediatrack.com, on the privacy, which is owend by IMM Interactive/Copeac ( This is how I found out who was behind it). IMM Interactive and Mike Krongel has duped consumers out of millions of dollars says the FTC, by running fake news sites, like the one linked below, and they are currently being sued by the FTC, for false advertising and deceptive marketing practices, for using fake news websites like the one linked below. Here is a link to the lawsuit: http://www.ftc.gov/os/caselist/1023232/index.shtm

The FTC is trying to stop them but apparently can't. Lets get these people shut down!!! Report GrabSwag and IMM Interactive/Copeac, to the FTC, Attorney Generals, BBB, IC3, FBI and lets get a class action lawsuit going against both of these companies scambook!!!

Here is one of their fake news sites they are behind, which if you do webpage privacy in internet explorer on the grabswag page, you will see " emediatrack.com" which links you straight to Copeac/IMM Interactive: http://www.consumerinfonews.com/deals-of-the-century/index4.html

Here is a link to the IMM website and the grabswag site that says free, yet charges you $99 : http://www.imminteractive.?com

  • I can't believe this company has the nerve to post on my report. I refuse to seek any further assistance. The little to no help that customer service provides is simply pitiful to say the least, all they try to do is keep you on the line trying to negotiate or sell you more of their scam. It takes 20 minutes to even talk to someone on the phone and when you actually get to that point there isn't even any sort of satisfaction provided besides the crafty 50% offer they give you, which should be 100% refund if you are not satisfied, and get this, once you have been refunded 50% they provide no other refunds for you. Isn't that convenient, Grabswag. So thanks anyway, but the only one that will be contacting you in the future will be my LAWYER.

    Patrick Platz, Aug-04 08:19 (EDT):
    Michael,

I now see on my Grabswag account that the items I won on auction are now
being credited for the amounts I paid. I appreciate that you are refunding
those monies, however I still want to know why you are not willing to ship
the items that I legitimately won on the auction.

I spent many hours bidding on items only to find out you will not ship them.
If that is the case, I want to be reimbursed fully for *all *the charges
including the extra bidding auctions I won, plus my initial sign up fees
which were also suspicious since I did not agree to buy the initial bids for
    which I was charged.

Either you ship *all *the items I bid and won or reimburse me for *all* the
charges including my initial sign up fees.

I would appreciate an response immediately. I am still very dissapointed at
your poor business practices and SCAM like practice.
