I received a call from a Cash Advance America rep named Jessica in response for applying online for a 'Payday' type loan. She siad they offer a loan for $1500 at 21% which is considered very good for this type of loan. However, you had to pay the 1st month's payment in advance to get the loan which would be $150.00. Long story short, I sent the $150.00 (like a dummy) to them via Western Union. I was directed by their supposed mgr., Daniel, how to complete thw Western Union form. As soon as they received it they were to give me a western union ID # to receive the $1500 loan within 15-20 minutes. Bottomline after more than 2 hours of trying to reach them back by phone, they claimed Daniel was in meetings or their phones were down. After 3 hours, I reached another mgr. by the name of John Benson (by the way, all these people are from India). He said they had problems with their phone lines and someone had controlled their phones for the past couple of hours and they had many complaints like mine. I think he's lieing and full of you know what. I called the same number back today (5 days later). They still answer the phone Cash Advance America. John Benson got on the phone said there was nothing he could do or wanted to do in terms of returning my money or making a loan. Unfortunately, the majority of the time in these situations, the victim is made to look like the fool. I made the mistake of trusting what appeared to be a legitimate outfit on the web for lending funds for year end matters. These guys are crooks and I would steer clear of them. They should be put out of business. They will deny any wrongdoing and they'll say they don't have a Jessica or a Daniel, yet they called me from the exact # of the people that ripped me off.
