10 Minutes ago, I answered an Ad which appeared on my computer screen about how to lose weight. The Ad offered a free trial of 2 of their products - the only cost being the freight costs. If I was not happy with the results within 17 days of today, I was to contact them to cancel, otherwise they would automatically send me (at a cost of A$94+) a bottle of their product. On reflection there was no mention of how many pills there were.
I read numerous comments - all excellent - (and obviously written by the company), and foolishly thought I would give it a try.
Went through all the procedures for the first product - BioSlim, and then tried to order the 2nd free offer. Suddenly it had disappeared into thin air.
When I googled the company I found that it is all a big scam, with people saying that they had never received the free sample, and of course they were then charged with the $94 for the unwanted products.
I rang the Visa number to ask if they could reverse the charge, and was told that this company is registered with them as a Scammer.
If I wanted to cancel this transaction, I could ring Bioslimmango on 1800 5920238, or email them at extmangobill.com This information is not the same as is on their website, and naturally, they are uncontactable.
If I want to cancel my transaction, I will have to cancel my current Visa card, and have a new card replacement.
All this inconvenience is frustrating, and I will reluctantly cancel my credit card, as I feel very angry that I have been taken advantage of - thank goodness it was for such a small amount, but i will not be caught again. A good lesson, really!!
Surely, if Visa is aware that this is a scam, they could notify the customer, and/or not process the transaction.

  • I have cancelled my Visa Card and now await a new one on 17th January 2012. I have a 50% chance of the transaction being rejected.
Visa advise that this is the latest scam going around - world-wide.
Hopefully I will have caught the problem in time.

  • It's horrible I got caught out ordering OrganaSlim and OrganaCleanse via Facebook advertisement. It was the same deal as BioSlim you order the product and enter in the code for a reduced shipping fee. Needless to say I never received the free trail.

Also when I was on Facebook the other day there was an advertisement link to order BioSlim and BioCleanse, I was disgusted to see, it promoted the same story of Jennifer Miller.

Jennifer was the guinea pig for Women'sHealth because they wanted to investigate the countless success stories reported by people from all around the globe apparently, Jennifer was reported to have lost a large amount of weight over the six week period.

There are some slight changes to the article but it still has the same photo's and reports Jennifer lost weight using BioSlim and BioCleanse.
When I ordered OrganaSlim and OrganaCleanse, Jennifer was the feature story.

I am so glad I cancelled my card and was only stung for $3.12 x 2 and a charge of 9 cents x 2 for international transaction fees. It could have been much worse.
