I applied for a Case Manager position on CraigsList through Clarke-Career and Partners. It had a very professional pre-interview section even a code to be used when speaking with the interviwer.They asked for a credit report and a gave direct link to creditreport.com. They have a very professional site but all the length are under contruction. I have now read two other peoples complaints about this company coming out of Craigslist. I feel sick about this. I will now join freecreditreport.com to hopfully prevent any idenity theft or fruad.

I am about to complete a two year stent in college. After completing my extership, I was released to start job hunting. SO I began on Craigslist.com

I stumbled upon a add for a Medcial Assistant (which I'm trying for) and sent in a resume, a cover letter, and a reference page. Today I recieved an email that says

"We would like to thank you for sending your resume to Clarke Careers & Partners. After reviewing your initial credentials, I think you could possibly be a great fit for our company.

Our Human Resource manager would like to schedule an interview with you before she leaves for vacation early next week. You need to complete the pre-interview screening before we can schedule an interview, which can be found at http://job-in-clarke.info or the career link on our homepage. Your applicant code is 279218.

Please write down your code, as that is the only way you can gain access to your application and employee profile. Once you complete your screening someone from HR will contact you within 72 hours to schedule an interview.

So with excitment and anticipation, I log on immedicatly and plug in my # and begin a questionair that is typical of an interview.

I finish it up and hit submit which lead me to another page that explains that they need to check my identity through CreditReport.com. Foolishly I continue to the site and put in my information such as credit card, social security number, birthdate, you know, my entire identity.

The Credit Report.com is a actual company no big deal, but my concern is, could the Clarke-Careers and Partners trace my actions? Like did these people just get all this information?

I feel like such an idiot right now, I just totally got played into a scam that could mean an empty bak account or a load of false debt. Crap, did I just allow someone to steal my identity?

Thank you scambook! I was about to be another victim if I hadn't check with scambook.

I got the same message as the previous two guys. Clarke Careers & Partners is Craiglist scam. Beware of it.
