I was looking for a personal loan to help me with some financial obligations due to being laid off from my government job. Robert Manning from Coleman Lending Group contacted me with a loan offer stating that by my credit being poor I would have to pay my first four payments of $225.00 as collateral to secure my loan of $5000.00. I western union $900.00, my last savings and then was contacted by Tim Lambert saying that they reassessed my credit and would need another $900.00. I told them that I couldnt do that and they said they would return my money by fedex on their next billing cycle which would have been June 24, 2011. I called them that morning for a tracking number for fedex and Mr. Lambert told me that he doesnt have that information. I waited over the weekend because he said that it would arrive the next business day which would have been Monday, June 27, 2011. When I called the 1-877-372-1166, the number was no longer in service. I am out of $968.00 because of this scam and I contacted my attorney and he advised me to call the FTC. which I did. I also called the attorney general office in Illinois. No one seems to be able to help me. They basically said I just gave away my hard earned money. I am a single parent trying to raise my daughter on a single income. This is a travesty. I also faxed them my license, my social security card and the signed contract documents. They have all my information and I am scared of identity theft on top of being scammed out of my money. Please help me!
