My son ordered 2 pairs of trainers from this site, I received an email after the site advising me that payment could not be taken from my sons account unless it is a visa.
The email said thank you for your order. I cannot get in touch with these people.
Please help me, I don't know how to get the money back or even check if they have taken it?????

- i found out today that i have also been scammed by shoestown.co.uk...i went to my bank to report it but i have to ring a number,give details ect.then they will look into it.i was told i should get refunded but it could take a while.to check if they have taken the money,get a print out of your statement or if you know the amount check your statement.the details of the transaction will have come from china so it will say china on it.i was scammed for $94 (roughtly £54).i hope iv helped you a little,iv never been scammed before so im totally shocked.plus my son is dissapointed because the trainers were for him for xmas :(

What form of payment did you use? Did you use a credit card? Has your circumstances changed since December? I also have a problem with this website. My goal at this time is to make sure that everyone who I find with a complaint on the Internet does something to get their money back. I, of course, hope that by doing that the website will no longer exsist.
