ON 7-7-11 I SAW A HOUSE FOR RENT ON CRAIGSLIST, IN LA HABRA, GOING FOR 650.00 A MONTH. I CALLED THE NUMBER ON THE SCREEN, AND THE NUMBER WAS: (714) 447-4900. A MAN NAMED FREDRICK ANSWERED, TELLING ME IT WAS A RENTAL AGENCY, AND I'D HAVE TO PAY THEM A HUNDRED AND SIXTY BUCKS TO GET STARTED. I CAME IN THE NEXT DAY, AND COULD SEE IT WAS A FLY-BY-NIGHT OPERATION; AND YET, I PAID THEM THE CASH . . . HOPING. FREDRICK TOLD ME HE'D GET IN TOUCH WITH THE OWNER, AND THE OWNER WOULD CALL ME TO SET UP A MEETING SO I COULD LOOK AT THE PROPERTY. WELL, TODAY IS THE THE 17TH OF JULY, AND I HAVE HEARD NOTHING. I'M REALLY TOO EMBARESSED TO CALL THEM, TO SAY I WANT MY MONEY BACK, BECAUSE I KNOW I WON'T GET IT. I GUESS I WAS DESPERATE. THEIR ADDRESS IS 2601 E. CHAPMAN, FULLERTON, CA. #108, 92831. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME? I'M 57 YEARS OLD AND DISABLED. THANK YOU.

- This had happened to me and my husband. I was looking at an ad on craigslist about a house for rent. I called the number and this man named Fredrick answered and explained they were a rental agency. Later that day and my husband paid 140.00 he wanted 160 but we only had 140.00 but he insisted it was okay so off the bat it sounded like a scam. I would call him everyday and he would tell me he was getting more listings of apartments. So I went back and told him I wanted my money back and he promised us it was going 2 be sent to my address in 10 days its now August 25 2011 and I haven't gotten anything. Please contact me privately if this has happened to you too.

- my husband and i were also scammed by this guy he promised us a place and we gave our notice to where we were living and now we are stuck in a motel this fred guy promised our money back by october but now that it is october his number is disconected does anyone know if he still has that office in fullerton on chapman or this dudes last name
