I received an unsolicited phone call from a guy with a strong Indian accent. He called me from what appears to be tel no. 009999199152 and claimed to represent a Microsoft certified PC support company called "swappccare".
He referred to himself as "Simon", referred me to his website "www.swappccare.com" and gave me UK tel no. 0044 122 3901163 to verify his identity and claims.
I kept the guy talking on the phone, whilst I checked out the website and phone numbers for known scams.
THIS IS A SCAM
I taped all phone calls with the guy and shared with criminal investigators and Microsoft.
Anyone interested in receiving taped phone calls related to this scam (MP3 format), feel free to contact me and be prepared to identify yourself. I will not interact with anyone who does not provide verifiable information as to their identity.
