A young girl came to my door last night and was selling magazies. She began talking about working on her communication skills and then winning a trip to Europe. I never open my door to strangers, and don't buy from door to door sales people, but last night I fell prey. I wanted to help this young girl do I wrote a check for a magazine subscription for $54 plus $15 S$H= $69.00. 1 hour after she left I felt concerned so I looked into the company and all I saw were complaints and scams. I have since stopped payment on the check ($34.00), closed my checking account for fear of check fraud, and stopped direct deposit until I can open a new account. Never again will I do this! Be forewarned... they are indeed a scam.
