Answered an advert online for free trial sample which asked only for payment of postage and packing £3.95, this was on 23rd November 2011. I heard nothing from them & didn't receive anything. Today, 13th December 2011, I checked my bank account before going out to find that £57.95 has been taken out of my account. I e-mailed the e-mail address on the confirmation of order which I had printed out at the time. [email protected] I received an automated reply stating 'emails no longer serviced & that I would have to phone: UK & Europe: (+44) 08081683674 to speak to customer service. This I did, but it was a total waste of time & god knows how much it cost, I guess I will have another shock when I get my phone bill! The guy, who sounded American, told me I had agreed to paying when I applied for the trial sample, but I had not seen anything at the time. He said that I had 14 days after the trial in which to cancel, which as I told him was rubbish as I hadn't received anything from them and therefore was unaware of this. I hadn't had any notification of any kind. I asked for the order to be cancelled and my money reimbursed, but he refused point blank. I even told him that I was on employment support allowance benefit at the moment due to illness & that the money taken out of my account had left me at the limit of my overdraft & in 3 days time I needed to pay my gas/electric monthly payment, but I no longer have the money to pay. He just didn't care, he said, he was sorry, but he certainly didn't sound it & I told him so. He said he would cancel further orders, but would not return my money. I am absolutely disgusted at these people & extremely annoyed with myself for being so stupid. I don't usually fall for these scams, but at the time I thought it was a genuine offer.
