My story is similar to others, I needed a job, and came across this ad for consultant for new offices being opened on the East Coast in various cities. I applied and a Ms. Farrell was my first contact who lured me into the company with application docs. I was then handed off to this David McAdams (you can check him out on Google) who was my project leader during my so called training period. During this period you receive several tests to complete and return on line and then about the fourth week your invited to participate in a special project to receive an extra $1,600, which is added supposedly to the training amount of $1,600. The special project was to purchase product (Apple Computers) using my Credit card and prior to shipping though, the company allows you to use their checking account to apply towards the purchases, which seemed safe, however, unbeknown to me, is that after 5 days the transactions came back as declined by the bank. The rest of the story is pretty much known. I'm out about $18k now because of my stupidity. I've remained in contact with this David McAdams, but he will not call you on the phone, he only e-mails you. Looking back there were so many signs, but when your in need of a job, you want to believe I guess. This guy needs to be in jail for a very long time. I am working with IC3 on line in trying to piece all this together. The web site is very professional (www.iptr.net). In researching the domain, its owned by a Vladimire out of Russia and the domain runs out in January 2012. Supposedly they have offices in NY and London is the HQ. This has pretty much financially ruined me, as I was just barely making ends meet before this happened. This world has gotten really crazy, and what I've learned is not to trust anyone ever again. I hope this prevents anyone else from losing any monies.....
