I have no idea how this transaction got onto my card and out of my account. I don't even know what the charge is for. I didn't order anything for this amount, which is why I started investigating the charge. There was a phone number on my bank statement, 888-836-6877, so I called it. The recording said that the offices were closed, the normal business hours were Monday - Friday from 8 am to 11 pm or one could visit the website at www.programstop.com. I tried visiting the site but it kept directing me to my search and stating that the site did not exist. Finally, I googled programstop.com complaints and found this form. I have absolutely no idea why my card was charged. I don't even have a product for the money. I just want my money refunded. Also, I found a form that I could fill out to request a refund, but I opted to wait until Monday (12/5/2011) to call during the business hours before filling it out. I don't want to give information to someone that I'm not sure who it is. I hope you can help me, please. Times are hard and I don't have $30 to give away. I just recently got taken for $59.88 by US Identify on the same day. Can you see if these two companies are related. On US identify, I signed up for one day to use their search site to look for someone, the next thing I know they charged an annual fee, saying that I had to cancel my subscription within 3 days. What subscription? I only signed up for one day's use. It's just suspicious to me. Maybe the two companies are linked in some way.
