I had the same expierence as most of the people posting on here. I applied for a personal loan online, at the end of the application it said a lender would contact me within 3 to 5 business days. 2 days later i receive a phone call from a "WILLIAM POGUE" saying that I was approved for a $5000 loan all I had to do was sign the agreement and send in the 1st 5 months payment. So like an idiot, I just GREEN DOTTED a company "called" Brantfield Loan Center $877, who told me that I would receive my $5000 loan by the following morning. Surprise Surprise... no $5000 in my account. I called and spoke to "WILLIAM" who transfered me to "MICHEAL" who told me my lender decided to require "insurance" on my loan of another $1000. YEAH RIGHT!!!! Knew then it was a scam, argued with "Micheal" until he decided to hang up. Called "Micheal" back and asked to have a refund that I was not going to finish going through with the loan. "Micheal" then said that he could not refund my money because it was holding my loan. I then asked why since I still hadn't had any money deposited in my account. "Micheal" then stated he didn't know! Real Professional Statement! My husband and I are currently in contact with law-in-forcement and other government officals. The number the scamers are using is 1-877-898-9429.
