i paid ticket finders for foo fighters concert tickets on 27th of july, and after not receiving them after a couple of weeks, i started to get suspicious.
i went online to investigate, and i found many examples of other people being ripped of by the same company.
they didnt answer my phone calls, or return my messages, so i took the advice of another disgruntled customer (i found online), and disputed the charge on my credit card with my bank.
my bank imediately refunded the money pending an investigation. ticket finders produced a "screen shot" for "evidence" that the transaction was valid.
my bank gave me a week to continue the dispute, and i thought i would try to speak with ticket finders and give them a chance to send the tickets to me and therefore withdraw my dispute with them.
this time when i rang them, they answered the phone, and the person i spoke to promised i would receive the tickets by the following week at the very latest. (it had already been over three months since i first paid for the tickets). the tickets never arrived and i decided to continue the dispute through my bank.
today is the 29th november, (the foo fighters show is in four days) and i just received a phone call from somebody at ticket finders, who told me that i have left them out of pocket.
rather than listen to my reasons for no longer wanting the tickets, and the reasons for me continuing my dispute with them, he just talked over the top of me.
when i explained that i had spoken to someone from their company previously, who had promised they would take one more week, he said that i "had no proof" of that conversation.
he also said that this was a "difficult situation" and that he would be sending the tickets to me overnight to fulfil his company's obligations to me.
we shall see...
