On 6/1/2011 I rented a Honda Odyssey minivan from Airport Rent A Car Atlanta branch.
Mr. Shaw did the rental agreement and told me verbally that there was a service available involving gas refueling. Mr. Shaw described it to me as follows: The customer brings the car and the rental company would fill it up at a rate lower than any gas station in Atlanta. The benefit to the costumer is that he/she does not have to be searching for gas and be on time to the airport.

On 6/5/2011 at 08:55 am I returned the car with a 3/4 full tank. Mr. Shaw processed the rental invoice and made not comments.
I signed the invoice without much fuss relaying on his honesty plus I was tired due to having been driving until 3:30 am that day and being a bit short on time for my gate.

On 6/8/2011 I went over the trip expenses and realized I have been overcharged for gas by Mr. Shaw.

On 6/9/2011 I phone called Mr. Shaw to let him know that he had charged me for 22 gallons of gas when I had brought the car back with a 3/4 full tank. Shaw first said he had told me I would be charged a full tank regardless of how much gas the car had on return. I told him that he did not and that a sane person would not agree to such a deal.

Shaw then said the agreement was spelled in the back of the contract. I retorted that there was not detailed description or specifications of the agreement on the back of the contract.

Shaw then said it was company policy, to which I retorted that such a policy ought to be spelled out in the contract for the costumer to be aware.

Shaw then said he was going to consider if a refund was warranted and how much. I then pointed out to him that this vehicle by dealer fuel capacity specifications only takes 21 gallons of gas and not the 22 gal he was charging me.

Shaw got very upset and told me he did not have to do anything and hung up the phone.

The amount Shaw charged me for fuel was $81.40. The amount overcharged, that I am asking to be refunded, is $62.90
