LEND NET IS A SCAM. I also posted this complaint under false advertising, but this is where it needs to be posted. I never filled out an application from LEND NET but they somehow got my routing number and account number and deducting $30 from my account. I called the bank to let them know that I did not authorize this transaction and the fraud department will look into it. The number associated with LEND NET is 888-507-1740, but there is no use in calling them because they will tell you their system is down (always) and to keep calling back. Also, you might be giving your bank information again and LEND NET will only take out more money saying they were trying to credit you. I'm sure they have too many accounts they have robbed from that they are not keeping track of who they need to credit if they are crediting anyone and receiving your funds back is not an option. I googled them and their site, under construction, is in australia and I live in the United States. If this happens to you, you need to notify the bank immediately, keep a watch on your transactions if you need to keep the account open, or close out the account and open a new one. If this has happened to a lot of people, this could be a class action suit and if anyone knows of a lawyer, or if a suit has already started against LEND NET, please let me know. If enough people come forward with what has happened, there might be a case.

  • Lend Net (or yourloan101) is a bogus operation stealing people's checking account information. If you mistakenly log onto a unsecured site, they manage to obtain your information without your knowledge and deduct money from your account. When you call the number that is associated with this transaction, Lend Net will tell you they are loan locators and will find you a lender, but services were never asked or authorized for them to do so. They do not search for lenders or do anything they say they will do and I did not even ask for this service or authorize their services. You do not need a lender finder for a pay day loan. This happened to me and I am trying to resolve this situation with my bank. For now the bank is investigating my claim, but I will be filing a report with the Federal Trade Commission about Lend Net. If this has happened to you, you need to contact your bank and file a report with the Federal Trade Commission. Lend Net needs to be shut down.

  • I just had the same thing happen to me today. It's on hold on my account and i asked my bank to deny the charges from the merchant but they said i have to call the number. Why can't they just deny it? Calling the merchant is useless! How do i get my money back

  • This happened to me as well. It's the same company that goes by PMT Assist. On the 16th I had a $0.05 credit from them and a $0.01 debit. Called them and they assured me no more charges would hit my account including the $30 "payday finder fee".

Then 6 days later, I get the $0.01 and $0.03 debit from Lendnet 101 just like PMT assist said how they worked. The $30 charge hasn't shown up, but I know it's coming.

I called Lendnet 101 and waited about 10-15 minutes to speak with someone. Then the hold music stopped and I heard reps talking in the background. No one said hello and I finally said hello twice. Then I was hung up on.

I'm calling them a second time and still on the initial hold. Hopefully this time I do not get hung up on.

    I called

  • LF, call the bank back and tell them that what happened when you called. Tell them you called the number and LendNet is a scamming bogus operation that stole your information. The bank should be doing a claim investigation and see that you did not receive any deposit transactions or services to warrant the Fee they charged. The bank should credit you. It takes time for the bank to investigate the claim.
Make sure they start an investigation and get the claim number. In the meantime, put a stop payment on anything coming from LendNet. The bank should waive the fee. Also, call LendNet and tell them not take out any more money as you are reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission, which you should do, as I will be doing and hopefully enough complaints will shut them down.

JFRuerst, You need to tell the bank to stop payments coming from LendNet so no more money can be taken out of your account, if you need to keep your account open and have the bank start an investigation as I said above. Tell the bank LendNet is a scamming bogus operation and you did not authorize LendNet to take out money from your account. Also, tell LendNet not to take out any more money, as you will be reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission, as I will be doing, and hopefully enough complaints will shut them down.

I hope this information helps. Anyone who has had this done done to them should report the incident to the Federal Trade Commission at www.ftc.gov.
