Like the other victims I received a check for secret shopping work. I checked for Information on JMK Mercantile Systems, Inc. and found they were a real company. I checked into the Bank the check was on and found they were a real bank. I deposited the check with my bank and it was held for 2 days to allow it to clear. After 2 days the money was shown in my account. I felt that if the check cleared then it must be legit. I went ahead and completed the 2 assignments as instructed and this morning ( 11/18 ) my account is now in the hole $1997.60 as the check was returned. I don't understand why the check was cleared by my bank and funds made available. Now I have a very large mess on my hands. Wish I had looked further into this. My bad. Don't know what to do.
