iam a professional music promoter been in the business over 20 years promoted big names like neo,roy jones jr. j.holiday, and more plus i do showcase for indie artists. this guy ricky sees my advertizment on b.e.t calls me and tell me to meet him at tim hortons in southfield mi on tele and 10mile,me and my brother sees this kid and meets him about the showcase keep in mind he said he'll have the money when we get there guess what he did'nt! he gave me this said story that he did'nt have the $300.00 he said he only had $45.00 and promise to give the bal of the $300.00 the following fri keep in mind he signed the contract saying that he'll pay the bal which will be $255.00 so he called me the next couple of days and this guy tells me he want his money back which was only 45.00 keep in mind that the contract says if the artist cancelled no refund if we cancelled the artist get thier money back. so he's the one that cancelled the contract so you tell me do he suppose to get that lil money back? no! but guess what i gave back to him anyway because iam not that pety like he claim i was and a scam he claim i was he wouldn't never gotten his $45.00 back and plus ive got the contract on file he signed and dated! my reputation is too big as a promoter to get caught up over $45.00 or any money! these so call artist better start reading up contractual agreements, it cost me $45.00 in gas jus to ride to see this young punk! next time read the fine print plus dont waist a professional time! if i was p diddy i woulda sued him! so this is the real story i was the one scam and took a loss! but it's all good!
