AppEsteem Certifies Applications based on their guidelines and also call out Applications as Deceptors.
Recently an Application 'Mac Optimizer' was called out as Deceptor because it violated some guidelines including:
ACR-097:App hides its own behavior by not showing itself in uninstall results and startup results.

Now, many certified apps does not comply with this rule and clearly violates this rule laid down by themselves.

Anyone can check out the following certified Applications:
TuneupMyMac - Certified by AppEsteem on 1/16/2019
Can be downloaded from: https://tuneupmymac.com/

Another one: Win Tonic certified by them on 2/5/2019 and listed on their site.

Both these application does not show itself in uninstall list or startup lists showed by them.
They clearly violates AppEsteem's rule:
ACR-097:App hides its own behavior by not showing itself in uninstall results and startup results.

Now, Why have AppEsteem ignored this and certified them?
Because they are paying partners. AppEsteem is being paid by these people.
AppEsteem will flag all those who are not paying them but will show liberty to the people paying them. This is a big Scam.
