My first interview with Toronto Matchmakers was on Sep 25, 2014 with Channa Bromely (now working for It's Just Lunch) in Vancouver, B.C. Full payment ($ 5600 CND) was charged to my credit card in 2 installments by Canada Introductions Inc. This company has been cancelled (closed down on Aug 2, 2017) due to many complaints in Alberta, B.C.

No service was offered other than the totally random referrals of 2 woman who just happened to sign up within 2-3 months.

I went to court in Feb 2018 and won an order on July 3rd, 2018. So far my legal cost is $ 3000 CND.

I have sent between 6 and 14 notifications to all addresses and persons involved in this business in Canada and the US and NOT A SINGLE reply from them. I used phone, mail, email, notice stuck on office door, registered mail, registered mail with signature.

I have a Notice of Examination for Mr. William Broadbent (president and director of this dating agency) to appear in court on Jan 23rd, 2019 but have not found a process server yet to agree to serve it in Texas.

I am waiting to hear from Compass Process server in DFW office if they can serve this Notice to defendant.

Conclusion: I have over 50 pages of documentation on Mr. William Broadbent, his businesses, his family relatives, his directors, his managers, his domain names registration, and related information. This is not helpful. Unless two things happen, a client, such as my self, will not get justice:

1. The legal loophole should be closed. This is due to the fact that in Canadian Law, a Plaintiff can only request a director of the corporation to come to court as the Defendant;
2. The Registeration of such businesses is only allowed if at least one director (regardless to title or role in company) should reside within the same legal Jurisdiction of the business. Better yet, the President should be residing within reach of the local law/jurisdiction.

Though I have learned a lot about the law, and small claims court process I have not been served justice yet.

Finally, this operation goes back to early 2000 when domains were registered and online dating businesses were created in both Canada and USA to operate a web of deceit, mainly on singles 50+, taking advantage of North America's social problem NO 1: loneliness.
