I called this company following an advertisement in the press and requested a FREE no obligation trial pack. I was then informed that the trial package was NOT FREE, whereupon I said that I would not proceed any further, as I was a pensioner on limited income and could not afford approximately £30.00 per month. The young lady asked me to hold on for a minute or two while she "had a word with her manager". She then informed me that, as I was a pensioner on limited income, her manager said I could have a "Free Trial", only having to pay £5.00 for mailing and packaging, which I agreed to.

On checking my most recent bank statement, I noticed that a sum of £27.99 had been deducted from my account and had been doing so since May of this year, without my authorisation. My bank informed me that they would cancel all payments to this company and request a full refund of monies deducted from my account, particularly since I had contacted them and said I did not wish to proceed with this trial, as it did not appear to be making any difference to my health, which they readily agreed to do. Since May 2018, I have been receiving t least TWO packages per month, despite my request to cancel the trial!

I am now awaiting for further information from my bank as to what the current situation is regarding any refund to my account. Should this not be forthcoming, I will take this issue to the small claims court, or perhaps even Judge Rinder on television.

What a disreputable way for a company to behave, particularly as they were dealing with a pensioner with serious health issues and a very limited income!!
